WHO WE ARE

BECKY & TOM

With over 25 years of clinical experience between them, Physiotherapists Becky and Tom feel very passionate about offering a unique service to their clients.
Their backgrounds are a little different, with Becky working her way up the ladder in the elite sports world, treating many Olympic and Paralympic athletes along the way, whilst Tom served in the British Army as well as the private sector treating those with trauma injuries rehabilitate back to fitness.
So what makes their approach to Physiotherapy different? They believe that active rehabilitation and core control is the key to injury prevention and a strong fit body. This is where Pilates comes in. While Pilates offers a full-body workout, it also helps to prevent injury with low-impact strength training. If practiced regularly, Pilates improves posture, flexibility, muscle control and builds strength and endurance.
A love for pilates based rehabilitation has brought Becky and Tom together to co-found The Physio Gym. They are both fully trained in mat and equipment based pilates with the APPI (The Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute) and have run a variety of private and group classes over the last 15 years.

OUR STUDIO

Our studio is nestled on the edge of the stunning Vale of Belvoir, just 20 minutes from Nottingham's bustling city centre.

Here in the tranquil countryside you can escape from the chaos and come to focus on you. 

With a fully equipped studio, here you can experience a tailored approach to exercise, whether you are recovering from a back injury, have joint pain or simply want to get the most out of you, we can help you reach your goal.

With over 15 years experience in injury prevention and rehabilitation, we at The Physio Gym can offer you a pilates based programme that you'll see the benefit of in just weeks. 

We offer private 1 to 1 sessions as well as small group classes and each session is tailored with your needs in mind. Our top of the range equipment in a peaceful setting gives you the opportunity to make the most out of your session with us.

ONE HOUR SESSION

Wanting your pre-baby core strength back?


This class is completely tailored to your needs. You will have an initial physiotherapy-based assessment that will address any previous injuries and areas to focus on. This time will also be used to discuss your personal goals and what you hope to achieve from the sessions. 

These private sessions give you the strength, control and endurance to tackle your goals head on.

£50 per session

Buy 5 a week block for £200

SMALL GROUP CLASSES


ONE HOUR CLASS

With a class of up to only 6 people, you'll feel the benefits immediately. An intimate environment for you to maximise on your instructor.

These classes mix the mat based approach with top of the range equipment such as the reformer, cadillac and combi chair. Set in a circuit style class, you'll have chance to work to your maximum on each station. 

With a moment to relax at the end of the class, you'll leave feeling the benefits of this unique low impact core training.

6 week block courses for £70 - Next course Feb - Mar 2020.
