Do I need a referral to access physiotherapy?

No. You can contact us directly to arrange an initial consultation. We also accept referrals from GPs, consultants, insurers, case managers and solicitors.

Do you provide home visits?

Yes. We offer community-based physiotherapy for patients who benefit from treatment at home or in a familiar environment. This is available across the region and can be arranged following consultation.

Where are you based?

Our clinic is located in Redmile, a quiet village in the Vale of Belvoir, easily accessible from Nottingham, Grantham and Leicester. We are situated near the A46 and A1 for convenient access.

Who do you work with?

We work with a wide range of individuals, including those recovering from trauma, surgery, amputation, or neurological conditions. We also regularly support patients involved in litigation and collaborate with legal professionals, case managers and insurers.

Do you accept medico-legal referrals?

Yes. We are highly experienced in medico-legal rehabilitation and reporting. We provide Initial Needs Assessments, treatment plans, and progress reporting in line with legal requirements, and comply with all GDPR and professional standards.

What conditions do you treat?

We provide rehabilitation for complex orthopaedic injuries, amputations, post-operative recovery, neurological conditions, vestibular dysfunction and chronic pain. Every programme is tailored to the individual and goal focused.

Can Pilates help with rehabilitation?

Yes. Our 1-to-1 Pilates sessions are delivered by physiotherapists and designed to support injury recovery, improve core stability, reduce pain and improve movement control. These are not general fitness classes, they are clinical and customised.

What qualifications do your physiotherapists have?

All physiotherapists at The Physio Gym are HCPC-registered, DBS-checked, insured and trained to work with complex trauma and neurological conditions. Our team also has additional qualifications in Pilates and vestibular rehabilitation.

What happens during an Initial Needs Assessment?

We complete a comprehensive assessment covering clinical history, physical evaluation, risk factors and rehabilitation goals. A full report is then produced outlining the recommended treatment plan, SMART goals, timelines and costs.

How can I book an appointment or make a referral?

You can contact us directly by phone or email, or use the contact form on our website. Referrals from professionals can be sent via secure email and will be acknowledged promptly.
